Floral Purple

I had taken a break from work for a couple of weeks. When I again reached for a brush, I felt like creating something rather different from my works earlier this year. For some reason, I imagined colour tones tending towards the purple, which seemed odd to me, because, traditionally, purple is the color most often associated with royalty, magic, mystery and piety, none of which have ever piqued much of my interest. Then, it is said that, when combined with pink, it is associated with eroticism, femininity and seduction, which also do not belong to my artistic direction. Nonetheless, I hope you, like me, will feel this work justifies my intent.
