After The Fireworks

As always, a new year heralds a slow start for me. This was my first, new work for 2017. Actually, I started this work at the end of the previous November. I had used grey hues to reflect my mood during those early winter days, but I was not satisfied. In the end, it has now been reworked many times. New hues supplanted the old, although some grey from my original can still be seen on one of the underlying layers, which I deliberately left alone. I called this work “After The Fireworks”.
