My inspiration for this work, which I have entitled Colored World, was a part of one particular verse from a song called Colour My World. Those words had been turning over and over in my mind.

So you can colour my world
With sunshine yellow each day
Oh you can colour my world
With happiness all the way
Just take the green from the grass
And the blue from the sky up above

Finally, I decided to put the words in visual form.
