Birds Enmeshed

While I was looking at a large number of birds in an Avery, confined by so much small and large wire mesh. I remembered seeing birds flying south for the winter, their cries filling a sky darkened in spots by their presence, almost as if they were anticipating the end of the journey. But the actuality was that I was confronted by the birds I was seing being constrained by so much mesh. The result of those thoughts is this work.
