I must say that I was pleased with myself, when I had finished this work. The juxtaposition of the colours, layered over the somewhat worn-velvet like texture effect of the background, seems to work well. I have some bias, I suppose, towards blue, so that fitted in well. But then, when I stood back and looked at it, there was no real, structural element, on which to comment. It was as if I were back in the time of my foray into fabric design. I think this work would have made a pleasing design for that.

This work is a 60 cm x 80 cm acrylic, on 70 cm x 90 cm textured, heavy weight, museum quality, etching paper.
